The purpose of Softball T-Ball is to introduce girls to the game of softball. Players will learn, develop, and practice basic fundamental softball skills in a positive environment that reinforces sportsmanship and teaches the value of teamwork. The experience will be fun and include the basics of hitting from a tee, running the bases, throwing, fielding, learning the fielding positions. The Softball T-Ball division is not competitive in nature.
League age is determined by the age of the player on December 31, 2017. Softball T-Ball is designed for girls ages 4, 5, or 6.
The Softball T-Ball division will practice 2 nights per week for 4 weeks leading up to opening day on Saturday, April 14th. After that, there will be no practices. Games are scheduled 2 days per week. Game times may vary, with locations being held at various fields throughout Charles County.
The last day to register for Softball T-Ball is February 11th.
