T-Ball: A program recommended for 5, 6, and 7 year olds to teach the fundamentals of hitting and fielding. Baseball League Age is determined by how old the player will be on April 30, 2010. All batters will hit the ball from a batting tee which is adjusted to a height that allows the batter to swing level. All rostered players present for the game bat and play on defense every inning. An adult coach is stationed beyond the infielders in order to provide instruction to all defensive players. The primary goal is to begin to instruct young players in the fundamentals of baseball in a supportive team environment where they have lots & lots of fun. Our hope is that they have so much fun & enjoy playing America's Favorite Pasttime so much that they continue to come back to play year after year after year to play a game they will enjoy throughout their lifetimes!!!
Note: If your child is 7 years old, has played T-Ball before, & you believe is ready to move up to the next level then you may want to register him/her for the Rookie Division, which is for 7 & 8 year olds.
We have split T-Ball into 2 divisions: Beginner's T-Ball (BT-Ball) and Experienced T-Ball (XT-Ball). The BT-Ball is for 5 year olds or beginning players who have never played T-Ball before; XT-Ball is for 6-7 year olds who have played at least 1 year. XT-Ball will play basically by Rookie (Machine Pitch) rules but hit off a Tee. You don't have to do anything other than register for T-Ball. We will place your child in the appropriate T-Ball division as defined above.
If you have any questions please contact the T-Ball Commissioner, Melissa Miller, at
***The last day to register & be guaranteed a spot is February 7th. After that a $10 late fee applies plus there is no guarantee your child will have a spot on a team, they may be wait-listed. This is because we have to plan for the number of teams, get managers, order uniforms, etc. However, we will do whatever we can to get all the kids in the league that we can.
****Reminder!!!! Please make sure that you have paid for your child's registration prior to Opening Day.
